Outreach & Service
Mentor, Program for Hearing-Impaired Youth
Weekly STEM instruction for middle and high school students with hearing impairments, alongside academic and career mentoring and supervision of educational field trips. This work grew out of a personal commitment to building bridges between scientific communities and underrepresented groups — including through a Deaf Culture course at UW that deepened my understanding of the community I serve.
